Today, in the great hall of the International Institute of Zakat Sciences, an enlightening meeting was held on the outcomes of the periodic meeting of Zakat trustees in the states, which took place on August 17-17, 2022, presented by Professor Siddiq Ahmed Abdel Rahim, Director of the Institute, to enlighten about what happened in this meeting. The Secretary-General praised the role and guidance of the International Zakat Institute. The need for the Institute to play a greater role at the internal level, represented in coordinating with state secretaries regarding training and qualification, especially for the Zakat and Eligible Committees. The meeting included a number of interventions initiated by Professor Khalifa Al-Siddiq, in which he referred to the tasks and competencies entrusted to the Institute after approving the functional and salary structure of the Diwan. This and all the attendees agreed to the need to play a broad and large role in order to consolidate the ritual of Zakat.
